	SAVE A CUP RECYCLING Waterpoint will endeavour to use fully recyclable and biodegradable cups and we recommend that all our customers join the Save-a-Cup Scheme: www.save-a-cup.co.uk. Save-a-Cup provides an environmentally sound disposal route for used hard wall polystyrene vending cups. Below are the stipulated conditions, which must be adhered to should you decide to join the scheme. Waterpoint supplies only compliant cups showing a small triangle on the bottom with an 06 in the middle and PS around the outside of the triangle. Cups are collected on site using a Cup Stacking Bin system, which allows cups to be stacked and the waste liquid collected The Standard Beca Bin will hold 480 cups approx; a Beca Bin 100 holds up to 100 cups (ideal at water points); the Envoy Cup Bank holds approximately 750 cups Bins should be sited by each vending machine or water stations; additional bins may be required in restaurant areas for ease of use When the bins are emptied, ejected cups should be placed in Save-a-Cup Drawstring Collection Sacks, tied and stored ready for collection Cups must be stored in Save-a-Cup storage sacks. The sacks hold around 1,000 cups each and can be bought in quantities of 100 or 260. A pack of 100 costs £52 and a box of 260 costs £117.70.
